Living With the Methow River
Monthly Activities and Learning Opportunities
September 2020
From the Calendar: Salmon require cold water for spawing, rearing, and migrating, and their life stages are timed to shifts in annual temperature patterns. Hatching salmon need water temperatures less than 48°F, while spawning adults prefer temperatures less than 54°F.
The 2020 calendar features more great block print art by local kids with help from the Methow Arts Alliance and layout by Tara Gregg.
