Living With the Methow River Monthly Activities and Learning Opportunities June 2020
From the Calendar: Turtles rely on healthy terrestrial (land) and aquatic (water) habitat to survive. During the winter, freshwater turtles hibernate underwater. They will bury themselves in the sand, mud, or pebbles at the bottom of a pond to keep from freezing. The 2020 calendar features more great block print art by local kids with help from the Methow Arts Alliance and layout by Tara Gregg.
